Becoming a Member

If you would like to join Shopmobility Market Harborough please come along to our office where we will ask for your name, address, contact telephone number and date of birth.

We will also ask for two means of Identity with your address on e.g. Driving Licence, Utility Bill, Bank Statement.

Registration costs £8 per annum.

Registration may be done by a Third Party for wheelchairs only.

Anyone who is intending to Register and use a Powered Scooter must apply in person.

The Scheme meets the criteria set down by the Department for Transport

All equipment must be booked in advance
There is a charge made for hire of equipment
The Scheme can provide escorts to assist you around town
The Scheme can provide escorts trained to accompany people with visual impairment
The Scheme can provide long-term loans
The Scheme has parking close to the office or operates a delivery system
The Scheme has car parking available for users of the Scheme
The Scheme has an accessible toilet facility
